The Business Analysis and Information (BAI) Senior Manager will lead patient/consumer/DTC primary market research and analytic activities to support the US commercial strategy and material development for the US launch of Erenumab (Migraine/Neurology). This role reports to the Director, US BAI Lead.
Job responsibilities include:
Develop productive relationships with Erenumab US and Global marketing teams to define BAI objectives, priorities and work plans for the successful launch readiness planning in the US.
Prioritize research resources to impact critical business issues and decisions.
Partner with and influence marketing team to help them understand and implement key customer and market insights
Independently plan, design, and conduct simultaneous complex market research projects and analytics in support of the Erenumab US strategy and tactics
Ensure that both routine and ad-hoc projects are in compliance with all Amgen SOPs and meet service-level expectations for quality, timeliness, and budget
Drive strategic and innovative approaches to key business problems
Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants to enable effective and efficient project execution
Provide analyses and summaries of results, interpreting and communicating results and recommendations to brand/business stakeholders
Additional marketing analysis/secondary data analytics responsibilities related to the identification of secondary data sources, launch tracking and ad hoc analytics projects to support business objectives, as needed.
Limited Travel Required
Doctorate degree and 2 years of analytics experience
Master's degree and 4 years of analytics experience
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of analytics experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of analytics experience
High school diploma / GED & 12 years of analytics experience
Demonstrated strong analytical skills-understands the advantages and limits of different market research and analytical approaches and their findings
Good understanding of biopharmaceutical marketing and direct to patient/consumer/healthcare provider strategies/tactics
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences
Demonstrated ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment
Proficient facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Understanding of one other functional area in BAI
