The mission of the GBT Service Design team is to design and facilitate top notch service experiences for our travelers, travel managers and travel arrangers. We partner with teams across our organization to improve client experiences, incubate new services, and cultivate a human-centered design culture and capability across GBT.

As a Service Design Business Analyst, you will:
  • Be responsible for managing and/or supporting multiple innovation and design projects
  • Assist with conducting and the analysis of quantitative and qualitative design research
  • Analyze service metrics data to inform design solutions
  • Track and communicate the success of Project Launches, Pilot and Post Launch Assessments
  • Perform testing of service concepts, prototypes, and systems
  • Makes presentations independently or with other members of the team in reporting the results of the innovation work
  • Prepare, update and maintain communication materials, and schedules as developed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify service design project opportunities
  • Create, lead, and implement design project plans
  • Communicate and present research and design insights to stakeholders
  • Assist service design team members in developing technical requirements
  • Promote service design efforts, mindset, and methods through presentation and communication
  • Partner with cross functional teams
  • Dive into the complex processes of each department to integrate new services
  • Analyze new business requirements
  • Obtain content for instructional materials, training and job aids

  • Strong desire to work in a high empowerment environment
  • High level of expertise with MS Office, with advanced Excel and Access skills preferred (including the writing of queries, macros, data base builds and creating efficiencies in data analytics)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, listening ability, written presentation skills and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external clients at all levels
  • Ability to create models and scenarios using all levels of data
  • Resourceful, motivated, and able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Pays attention to detail and has a focus on creativity and quality
  • Excellent time and project management skills required - including the ability to set priorities and work in a fast paced, multi-project environment and meet deadlines
  • Strategic thinker with superior problem-solving skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and complex problems
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • MS Project skills and Project Management skills preferred
  • Enthusiasm, patience and a positive attitude
  • An intrinsic passion for making things better
  • MBA preferred in Business, Service Design, Marketing, Logistics, Math, five years relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience
