be located in Raritan NJ, Titusville, NJ or Spring House, PA. Weekly travel to
the NJ/PA sites will be required. Additional travel up to 15% may be required.

The Data Sciences group within the
Pharma IT department of Janssen is looking for an outstanding IT professional
who is interested in leading, designing, developing, and fielding data mining
solutions that have direct impact to Patients and Janssen. Our Data Sciences
group spans across the entire value chain at Janssen Pharmaceuticals from
discovery to after launch enabling this person to work with various business
units to help identify viable data mining opportunities and then implement end
to end data analytical solutions. The role requires both a broad knowledge of
existing data mining solutions, leadership and creativity to invent, customize
and work in a multidisciplinary environment to drive business solutions.
The IT Lead, Data Sciences will be
part of a dynamic, accomplished informatics team that will support one or more
areas across R&D and commercial; He/She will be accountable for executing
business requirements for projects, achieving project objectives, ensuring
effective integration of new systems and technologies with a focus on data
- Serves as a
technical leader in the field of Data Sciences, with specific expertise in one
or more areas: clinical trials, observation studies, health informatics and
electronic health records
- Responsible to
design, develop, analyze, implement and support solutions for project execution
especially in the area of Real World Evidence
- Works in
collaboration with business team to understand business demands and identify
development of software tools, applications, and analyses to support business
uses of health informatics data across R&D and the Enterprise

degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree with
a minimum of three years of experience is required, respectively.
- Familiarity with
data management from one or more of the following areas is required: clinical
laboratories, clinical trials, health outcomes, electronic medical records
and/or digital analytics.

business analysis is required.
- Deep working
knowledge of business intelligence solutions design & implementation,
methodologies and business applications is preferred.

such as Spotfire/Tableau/D3/SAS Visual Analytics is preferred.
- Previous AWS
experience is preferred
