Johnson’s Medical Devices business segment is recruiting for a Business Analyst
Lead – Global Education. This position can be located in Somerville, NJ. The
position may require up to 20% travel.

produces a broad range of innovative products and solutions used primarily by
health care professionals in the fields of orthopedics, neurological disease,
vision care, diabetes care, infection prevention, diagnostics, cardiovascular
disease, and aesthetics.

Solutions product line, working closely with the business to translate business
needs and requirements into clear and easily understood strategies and
requirements for consumable product backlogs and sprints cycles. This position will also manage effective
relationships with key development and delivery teams to ensure the smooth
Agile delivery of key product and solutions in support of the Global Education
Analyst Lead – Global Education will:
across a number of WW (worldwide) stakeholders (Business & IT) to build
strategies for successful development and deployment of Global Education
Solutions portfolio of core capability offerings and new technologies to drive
business value; enabling the achievement of product delivery targets and more.
- Prioritizes and
aligns with business accordingly to drive a harmonized WW portfolio in
support business goals.
- Ensures effective coordination of
user acceptance testing (as required) and/or assist unit testers to ensure
requirements are satisfied.
- Writes, manages and clarifies
story points as required. Maintain
key Product backlogs in partnership with Business Product Owners
with the business to translate requirements for IT sprint cycles and in a
consumable format and terminology for developers (includes project
charters, use cases, data flows, wireframes, etc). Explains to the
business how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint.
IT products or systems in the Global Education space, maps out business
processes to serve as reference for development and IT support
day to day platform configuration management
compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides
documentation and participates in compliance activities as required
collaborations and sharing of best practices within the Education spaces across
the WW Medical Device IT community.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. A
degree in the field of Computer Science or Business Administration is
preferred. A Master’s degree is preferred.

minimum of 5 years of knowledge related to industry and business process and trends
related to Global Education or related areas is preferred
experience with enterprise architecture and application development
- Broad understanding of Global Education line
capabilities and limitations of existing systems is preferred.
- Quickly learns business and complex processes
- Ability to understand and work across multiple
business domains in support of projects is required. Strong communication and
critical thinking skills are required.
