One position available that could be filled at Thousand Oaks or Woodland Hills, CA; or Denver, CO; Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN or Richmond, VA. Or any Anthem Office Location.
The Business Change Director will be responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects (Functioning as a Subject Matter Expert and representing the business), programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:
Assists in identifying potential issues, project charge,and scope.
Leads efforts to identify best practices; identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
Develops and designs processes and systems that support business need.
Designs methods for integrating function and process.
Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; clinical experience preferred. 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives including knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management a plus with emphasis on change management experience (strategic and execution); or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Master's degree preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Proven experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budgets and knowledge of process redesign required.
Excellent written and oral communication and PC skills required.
Analytical, planning, and organizational skills required.
Prefer previous experience with National Accounts; external vendor management, including integration and cost allocation; clinical program implementation and implementation of complex and customized programs for National Accounts.
Prefer prior knowledge of national medical management structure and communication flow.
Previous client presentation skills and experience preferred.
Requires some travel.
RN preferred, or clinical experience accepted.
