Essential Job Responsibilities:  

  • Coordinate the completion of business continuity framework documents
  • Facilitate business impact analysis to identify and evaluate the disruption of service
  • Review/validate submitted documentation for satisfactory detail
  • Identify recovery plan weaknesses and coordinate with management on necessary enhancements
  • Coordinate with management and Enterprise Risk and Resilience to develop and coordinate annual business continuity updates, training, and testing
  • Ensure appropriate procedures are in place to escalate and coordinate recovery strategies.
  • Prepare regular updates and presentations for Enterprise Risk and Resilience and senior management on business continuity
  • Participate in the enterprise Business Continuity working group

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

Job Related Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in the field of disaster recovery and business continuity, emergency management, or related field.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning concepts and principals.

Travel Required:

  • Minimal travel required (0% - 5%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certification from Disaster Recovery Institution International (DRII) or the Business Continuity Institute (BCI)
  • PMP Certification
  • Work history in project management or similar role
  • Experience with LDRPS is preferred but not required
