Our business strategy team needs an out-of-the-box thinker and technology strategy visionary who can also tell a compelling story to an executive audience. We support the Windows Experiences executive leadership team, covering products ranging from HoloLens to the Edge browser, from the Calculator to what happens when the user hits Ctrl-P. Our goal is to give strategic guidance that drives long-term investment decisions.
You’ll provide the type of thinking that pushes boundaries, finds what’s hidden in plain sight, productively questions orthodoxy, and sees to the heart of complex ideas. This is a senior role that requires understanding both the sophisticated application of business strategy and the biases of your audience.
What you’ll do:
●Collaborate with a small team of business strategists to arrive at actionable recommendations based on both data and insight.
●Compellingly present findings to stakeholders across the organization, from creatives and engineers to a CVP-level audience.
●Contribute to presentations, white papers, memos, videos, and however else we might present our findings.
●Enhance the team’s brand as a trusted partner to the executives in our organization.
What you’ve done:
●Established a personal brand based on futurism, technology strategy, powerful business insight, or the ability to see new insights within old ideas.
●1+ year in a senior level position within a complex business, or a consulting firm that handles complex business problems.
●Public speaking, writing, or other storytelling medium.
●MBA or equivalent business experience and understanding.
●Technology background, either as a practitioner or keen observer.
