Business Development Manager

Job Description

Summary: This position is responsible for the full cycle sales process. The sales person is to: Develop and maintain new and existing clients to ensure growth goals and profitability expectations are met, build strong lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, support branch operations and be results oriented, self- motivated and demonstrate a high sense of urgency and integrity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Overview
  • Build and maintain strong networks and centers of influence
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Generate and obtain leads through prospecting
  • Conduct meetings with prospective clients
  • Meet and exceed weekly goals and expectations
  • Ensure pipeline opportunity expectations are met and documented for A, B and C level clients
  • Present effective sales presentations tailored to the potential client while building trust
  • Qualify clients, collect credit information and submit in a timely manner to corporate
  • Conduct site inspections
  • Follow up with established accounts
  • Ensure all metric are achieved
  • Spend 80% of time externally, developing business

Job Requirements

Required Competencies:
  • Business-to-Business sales experience
  • Staffing experience a plus
  • High level of honesty, strong work ethic and common sense
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, organized and has a drive for results
  • Can be counted on to meet or exceed goals successfully
  • Demonstrates skillful negotiation abilities
