The Business Development Manager s primary responsibility will be to evaluate and manage existing go-to-market partnerships for LinkedIn s Talent Solutions business, with a focus on our Strategic Recruitment Ad Agency (RAA) Partners. This will require: 1) developing a strong understanding of LinkedIn s business, product strategy and core platform assets, 2) understanding the talent industry landscape, 3) serving as a trusted and strategic advisor for our RAA partners, 4) optimizing RAA bookings performance 5) gathering and sharing relevant insights with LinkedIn s Product leads and Executives.
The Manager of Business Development will be expected to contribute in many other ways such as defining new processes, looking for ways for LinkedIn to continuously improve how external and internal partners perceive our partnerships and help influence LinkedIn s leadership team on future product and business strategy. This person will be a key member of LinkedIn s Business Development team and will be expected to drive partnerships that meaningfully contribute to LinkedIn s vision of creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce
Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of LinkedIn Talent Solutions go-to-market strategy with Strategic RAA partners
  • Develop strong relationships with internal senior stakeholders (Sales and Product) and C-suite leaders at Strategic RAA partners
  • Enables Sales Org to achieve bookings objectives by supporting high value Strategic RAA account interactions and educating sales teams on effective RAA partner engagement
  • Leverage partnerships to gather industry intelligence and product insight to inform LinkedIn Talent Solutions customer value proposition and shape LinkedIn s product roadmap
  • Leverage insights and data to measure our success and recommend strategies for improving our Partner Programs
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration, use resources effectively and delegate, manage and empower resources to deliver maximum value to LinkedIn and RAA partners

  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills; high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to influence partners and internal stakeholders at varying levels to support business goals
  • Ability to be autonomously productive in an unstructured environment with little oversight from senior management
  • Comfortable with structuring and conducting quantitative analysis to develop data driven decisions to grow partnerships, identify new areas of opportunity and demonstrate business impact of our partnerships to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborates well with cross functional groups. Shares information with the right people at the right time, addresses conflict professionally, and fulfills commitments
  • Exceptional communicator, speaking and writing clearly, concisely, and compellingly. Is honest, open and thoughtful at all times. Excellent in synthesizing executive-level communication in the form of slide presentations, strategy documents and other format
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance, high productivity and meeting deadlines
  • Creative and innovative thinker, with strong self-discipline and time management skills
Qualifications
  • 8+ years Business Development or channel management experience in Web 2.0, multi-tenant SaaS industry or a top-tier technology company
  • MBA and/or Top-tier management consulting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HR Staffing industry and/or Recruitment Ad Agency/Media Agency marketplace preferred
  • Strong skills with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to travel as needed
