This Business Development Manager is responsible for growing revenues by assisting RR Donnelley Sales Representatives in identifying and closing direct mail sales opportunities. This responsibility includes sales office visits, sales training, client and prospect visits, inquiry expediting, RFP and proposal writing, major account development, troubleshooting, and plant visits.
Sales Training: Maintain an ongoing dialogue with a targeted segment of the RRD sales force to ensure their interest, understanding and motivation in selling direct mail applications to established RRD accounts. Maintain ongoing in-office training and comprehensive webinars to introduce new products, resources, sales opportunities.
Sales Support: Leverage available tools, samples, and information to guide sales leadership, coach sales personnel, achieve sales understanding and buy-in, form account penetration plans, identify target applications and solutions, avoid conflict between divisional sales coverages.
Solutions Development: Actively participate in designing direct mail marketing solutions for sales and clients through account research and client interview. The scope ranges from simple print opportunities to full service engagements using the entire RMS services portfolio.
