Responsible for generating and managing a factoring client portfolio that will help increase the Bank's client base, factoring volume and overall profitability. Candidate will contact and visit prospective factoring clients and referral sources; increase new business by identifying, sourcing, and closing viable prospects; prepare factoring packages for underwriting; conduct regular reviews; and maintain and manage client relationships. This position is also responsible for controlling client exposure while maximizing the department's profitability.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field of study such as Accounting, Business, or Finance plus four (4)
years of experience directly related to Factoring Sales and negotiations of factoring contracts or Associate's Degree
in a related field of study such as Accounting, Business, or Finance plus six (6) years of experience directly related to
Factoring Sales and negotiations of factoring contracts. In addition you must have:
•Existing book of factoring business required.
•Must be able to travel and visit prospected new clients within a designated area for potential sales meetings/client
•Must possess a formal credit training background.
•Ability to creatively analyze receivables purchase.
•Strong reasoning, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong understanding of underwriting/credit worthiness of potential clients.
•Bank sales certification courses, KYC, BSA, Compliance, e-Learning, and bank marketing courses training
