At LinkedIn, we're hiring Business Operations Manager within Infrastructure Business Operations Group to support both production operations and internal IT organizations. The successful candidate will help LinkedIn to develop infrastructure business operations strategies and execute plans for Global Operations organization. They will gather, analyze, and organize information in effort to continuously identify ways to improve LinkedIn's cost to serve members and employees. They will track industry and competitive trends, develop forecasting models and scenario analysis, examine performance, spot opportunities, identify threats, look for novel solutions, and develop creative action plans within Global Operations. The candidate will focus on both long-term decisions and the prioritization of short-term actions.
Build infrastructure operations strategies and plan in collaboration with organization leaders and internal business partners. Help develop organization CapEx and OpEx budget plans in partnership with corporate FP&A and Global Operations finance group & managers. Build rolling procurement plans in collaboration with corporate sourcing & legal teams and Global Operations managers. Design, develop, and deploy operating framework to manage infrastructure business/procurement operations including all aspects of supplier engagement with regular performance reviews. Refine procure-to-pay process, define roles and responsibilities for each process block with key stakeholders, and execute sourcing plans. Provide one-stop-shop for all things suppliers for Global Operations procurement needs. Build monthly procurement plans including legal activity schedule for new and existing contract management. Drive monthly reviews with stakeholders with comprehensive reporting and analysis. Conduct quarterly feedback sessions and reviews with Global Operations senior leaders. Refine and manage delivery SLAs. Develop processes and define systems to track infrastructure inventory, utilization, and capacity plans; set inventory targets and ensure just-in-time delivery for products and services to enable successful implementation of operations plans.
Basic Qualifications:
B. . in a technical field or equivalent practical experience 2+ years of experience in technical program management or team lead/management 4+ years of experience in managing a business process end to end in a customer facing role 2+ years of experience working in engineering or infrastructure environment as a technical contributor
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering degree or Masters in a professional field General knowledge of procure-to-pay process - purchase requisition & order, pricing & quotes, invoice & payments Working knowledge of financial concepts such as capital & operational expenses, depreciation & amortization, accrual, fixed assets, cost center, chart of accounts, etc. Demonstrated technical understanding of infrastructure technologies such as datacenter, network, system, storage, voice & video, end-user computing, and enterprise IT systems Demonstrated ability to drive process reengineering and provide business solutions Demonstrated ability to influence peers, sr. management and deliver results in a cross functional environment Proven track record in delivering sustainable solutions on shortened timeline under pressure Experience operating within large, complex environments, with a firm knowledge of organizational dynamics Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
