POSITION PURPOSE
  • Quantify category plan for assigned parts of business
  • Track execution of the plan
  • Perform analytics to support optimal pricing and trade investment strategies that grow revenue, volume, and profit
  • Special projects as assigned


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Quantify category initiatives and work with cat comm, brand, finance, sales, and others to validate assumptions and prioritize initiatives into plan SOGs aligned to short- and long-term targets, brand strategies, and OBPPC
  • Develop pricing and trade scenarios and supporting value chains with finance where appropriate
  • Facilitate AMPS documentation with cat comm,brand, CAVS, sales
  • Work with cat comm to support stewardship of plan execution (e.g., MOT materials)
  • Perform commercial analytics to support plan course-corrections
  • Provide POV to finance on RE/BP based on initiative performance and market trends
  • Provide POV to appropriate decision-makers on price and trade requests

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree required (quantitative discipline preferred)
  • MBA preferred

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
  • 5+ years experience in planning, RGM, sales, category management, or finance
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Ability to balance many priorities across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
