Current Need


McKesson’s Six Sigma organization is seeing to add a Consultant to its existing team.  This manager would be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing operational improvements that generate millions of $ in cost savings.  More specifically:

  • Be a change agent to drive process change and value to our customers
  • Provide consultative services to senior executives and business unit partners including financial reviews, business case development, and strategic project identification  
  • Manage both tactical and strategic projects to deliver incremental revenue, cost reduction and working capital optimization
  • Maintain responsibility for project deliverables, timelines and stakeholder management
  • Leverage presentations to develop the storyline and key value drivers
  • Perform detailed analyses, synthesize results and deliver insights

Position Description

  • Support the identification and evaluation of process improvement opportunities
  • Lead all required workstreams to execute Six Sigma projects
  • Build advanced knowledge of company products, services and processes
  • Monitor and communicate the results of process improvement projects to senior management
  • Develop and maintain productive customer, staff, and management relationships


Minimum Requirements

4 years relevant experience

Critical Skills


  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility across the organization in order to promote ideas and proposals
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, strong project management and problem solving skills, sound judgment and a willingness to resolve issues and problems in a timely manner
  • Solid P&L understanding and business acumen:  ROI, IRR, Cost benefit analysis, Sensitivity analysis
  • Ability to execute complex analysis and synthesize into a storyline to socialize, influence and drive action across the organization
  • Self-motivated, organized and capable of handling multiple responsibilities and projects to successful completion


  • Four year bachelor degree in related field required
