Senior Business Program Manager
We are the OCP (One Commercial Partner) Digital Services team, and we build the tools, systems and operational competencies that keep Microsoft’s Commercial-Partner business running. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for the team that will take the lead across all our tools in turning OCP business strategy into precise product requirements - then work with the development team to turn those requirements into fantastic live products. Our mindset in the team is that we are business leaders - not just tools builders. The systems we build, and run are the tangible manifestation of our business strategy. To make them successful, we must understand, interpret and help shape that strategy, right alongside our stakeholders.
IDEAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
•Direct product-management / product-strategy experience in software
•Direct experience with Agile methodology at the Product Manager/Owner level
•Direct experience working with senior Microsoft leaders & stakeholders
•Strong ability to work with technical resources (developers, architects) to turn business needs into actionable epics, stories and tasks
•Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business, from the LT on down
•Willingness to collaborate on business design (NOT just passive requirements-gathering) - ability to steer the conversation to productive outcomes while still bringing everyone along
•Willingness to dive deeply on business needs - understanding not only the requirement but also the context behind it, and how it fits into OCP?s broader goals
•Ability to hunt down business problems and proactively solve them for stakeholders
•Comfort and constructive attitude toward ambiguity - but with a constant drive toward clarity
