State Street's Global VDI PMO is seeking a qualified candidate to provide technical and project support with on-boarding users to, and migrating users between Virtual Desktop. In their technical capacity, the right candidates will have solid experience with, and knowledge of Virtual Desktop, Windows 7 Desktop administration, SCCM, Active Directory, and applications packaging and deployment. In the project support role, they must be able to interface within IT and to the business across the globe in a professional and efficient manner; they will be competent in the relevant Office suite, and ITSM tools for coordination, documentation, analysis, and reporting.


Provision users Citrix XenDesktop VDI through Citrix Studio Remediate VDI access issues Assign applications via AD Group membership Remediate app/package installations Interface with business focals and users globally to collect and document application persona requirements Work with business focals, users, and application owners globally to determine installation details Submit packaging requests via ITSM tool to the Packaging Team Initial test of packages produced by Packaging Team Coordinate with business focals and user to perform UAT of packages Work with Packaging Team to remediate packaging issues Assist Project Managers with:
Project reporting
Various analysis and data gathering tasks
Manage tasks from email, meetings, and/or a service queue
This includes independent direction, and work within a group

Skills Experience with Citrix XenDesktop, and administration via Citrix Studio. Experience using VMWare Hypervisor for VM management is a plus
Experience using SCCM to deploy applications
Experience with managing Active Directory group membership
Experience as a Windows Administrator
Basic scripting (ex. .bat, .vbs, PowerShell)
Familiarity with application DB connection
Experience with application packaging (Flexera, Wyse)
10 yrs related experience
BA Computer related field
ProjectCommunication skills:
Email, IM, phone, and meeting etiquette
Setting and attending meetings, both for troubleshooting and status updates
Managing an Outlook calendar
Setting and ensuring appropriate cadences for follow-ups
Data analysis
Ability to use Excel as a data management and discovery tool
Understanding of generating reports from AD, SCCM, Citrix Studio
Use of Word to create and manage clear, concise documents
PowerPoint is a plus
