The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for eliciting, refining, documenting, reviewing and communicating requirements. We need an innovative thinker to provide technical guidance concerning the business implications of application development projects, in order to meet project goals.

Elicit, document and manage technical requirements to support a financial transaction processing system
Act as a primary liaison between business users/BAs and AD/QA project team.
Create, manage and analyze data.
Manage user expectations, changes to requirements and project scope.
Participates in gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user needs.
Participates in developing functional/technical requirements and functional design documentation
Supports QA and User Acceptance testing by obtaining test data
Document, maintain and communicate functional requirements.
Support the design, review and implementation of test cases.
Participates in discussions with Project Managers, developers, Test team and business users/Bas to support project objectives
Actively participates in change management activities
Works with project leads to ensure compliance with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Provides project status and escalates issues to project leads and management
Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field preferred, or equivalent work experience required.
1-3 years business systems analysis experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MS Office Suite: intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Project
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Good understanding of Oracle highly desirable
Experience with Visio a plus
Financial or Insurance Industry highly desirable
Accounting, actuarial, or investments application experience desirable
