Job Description

The EIT EA Business System Consultant (BSC) will act as a liaison across business and technical organizations by communicating, planning, conducting, and leading the analysis of highly complex business problems to be resolved. The BSC will assist the business and technical teams in conducting discovery / recommendation in support of tactical / strategic comprehensive technology solutions. The BSC will be responsible in building detailed technical requirements; conduct gap assessment between current state and future state solutions as well as identify opportunities for design and process improvements. The BSC will be primary point of contact for implementation, planning and supporting the solution delivery. In close partnership across EIT Technology teams, the BSC will ensure timely and accurate solution delivery for various Technology Prioritization Category Initiatives in support of Safety & Soundness, Regulatory, Technology Operating Model & Governance Regulatory, Data, and IT Simplification. The BSC will work closely with development teams and other supporting teams to ensure that overall business technical strategy is being met and that solutions are in-line with the vision of leadership and program requirements. The BSC will develop business use cases, solution test cases and develop/conduct user acceptance testing as well as user training as appropriate. The BSC will be versed in Technology Product Lifecycle Management Governance concepts and practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 1+ year of risk and regulatory compliance experience

Other Desired Qualifications

•Experience writing SQL queries and creating reports based on those results; ability to create queries based on business

•Understanding of Enterprise Architecture related functions

•Demonstrated experience in Solution implementation, Business Analysis and project management

•Understanding of relational Database other Data Integrations in multitier complex application architecture

•Proven skill at adapting and learning about stakeholder needs and expectations. Experience working with business, technical, and risk professionals

•Proficient in identifying requirements, deficiencies and to identify opportunities for improvement. Ability to write clear concise requirements documents

•Self-starter with willingness to assume responsibility and drive towards delivering value based on organizational priorities; willingness to actively participate in accomplishing goals

•Able to apply sound judgment and initiative to accomplish assignments and deal effectively with ambiguity

•Workflow design and implementation

•Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent – champion changes involving the technology platforms, develop and drive a plan of change, as well as work with users and other teams in facilitating the change

•Ability to steer conversation to meaningful interactions with users and leadership about needs, wants and requirements

•Experience with documenting and presenting functional and technical design specification, including data mapping and system integration details using which the development team can successfully implement solutions
