Job Summary

Business Transformation Manager


Crowe Horwath is seeking firm-wide Business Transformation Managers to lead cross-functional resources to automate and/or redesign significant aspects of the firm’s core service offerings and internal operations. Responsibilities include visioning, re-engineering processes, understanding as-is processes, identifying gaps and potential technology solutions, gathering requirements, agile/scrum/project management, team leadership, change management, executive communication, and working with solution or process leaders to create measurable metrics. He/She will collaborate with individuals across the firm to improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. This position may require some degree of travel.

  • Operational excellence experience including transformation, but also continuous improvement; Six Sigma certification is a plus
  • Experience in a variety of industries
  • Experience with internal functions, such as marketing, human resources, finance, and risk
  • Prefer experience with professional service firms
  • Experience in project and change management; certification is a plus
  • Product development experience is a plus, with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Cross-functional team leadership experience
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem solving, and decision making abilities
  • Business, data, and financial analysis skills
  • Collaboration across various areas of solution/process delivery (e.g. product development, quality assurance, product support) and across various levels of an organization
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience is a plus, but not required
  • Executive communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience required in process transformation/improvement initiatives
  • Domain expertise in a variety of industries and internal functions
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Ability to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information 
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills as evidenced by ability to articulate business and technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; MBA is a plus
  • Must have a solid reputation and references with previous clients, colleagues, partners, and contacts

Location: Flexible in the Midwest, prefers Chicagoland, Indianapolis, South Bend, Columbus.

About the Team:


Firmwide (FW):  Firmwide is comprised of the Office of the CEO and COO.  The OCEO is responsible for developing strategies and implementing plans approved by the Executive Committee.  In addition, the Office of the CEO ensures counseling, leadership, support, advice and assistance as necessary to all partners and firm administrators.
