What do you get to do in this position?

  • Work with Supply Base to drive On-Time Delivery and Quality.
  • Develop and update a strategic purchasing plan for assigned suppliers and commodities.
  • Manage assigned supply base to supply certified materials within Quality Assurance, Design Engineering, and Customer requirements.
  • Execute purchases at lowest total acquisition cost through effective supplier selection, negotiation, material planning and conformance criteria for development projects and ongoing supply.
  • Develop, negotiate and implement lean material flow (supply) initiatives.
  • Collaborate globally with commodity management to leverage global spend and achieve best-in-class supply chain performance.


Qualifications:
This job might be for you if:

  • Bachelors Degree in Purchasing/Operations Management or related business/program is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of Supply Chain experience in manufacturing, ERP environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills.
  • Proven effectiveness with change process and project management
  • Proven effectiveness with supply base qualification and development and excels in cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PPT.
  • Current APICS or ISM certification a plus.
