Summary: Plans and prepares floor planning and scheduling for manufacture of golf club products and facilitates the procurement of materials by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Obtain materials, components as required by the production schedule

Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the development and production cycle

Expedite purchase orders as necessary. Identify actual and potential delivery problems and take proactive steps to inform appropriate personnel.

Establish and maintain relations with suppliers and appropriate representatives

Maintain an awareness of materials and procurement concepts

Verify data accuracy (part numbers, BOMs, part costs) in MRP, report problems to appropriate parties

Understand and apply MRP reports in ordering parts used in production to ensure appropriate delivery dates

Identify problem areas and offer possible solutions

Complete special assignments for the department as directed by the Manager

Track progress of parts to ensure time schedules and delivery

Implement improvement processes to reduce inventory and non-value added work

Perform supplier audits

Communicates with Marketing Product manager of any changes or delays in new product introduction release dates
Works with master scheduler to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts and/or customer orders


Prepares purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment

Create and analyze reports, graphs and charts for various logistic job related information

Manages purchase orders to demand requirements and communicates changes to suppliers

Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions

Plans work orders for product lines within capacity

Education/Experience:
Minimum of 1 year college or technical school; or 1-2 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

No certifications are necessary for this position.

Reading skills ¿ Ability to: read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
Writing skills ¿ Ability to: write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals


Oral skills ¿ Ability to: effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, or the general public

Math Requirements:
Problem solving skills ¿ Ability to: solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Reasoning skills - Ability to: interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Computer Requirements:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook and Excel; ERP/MRP Manufacturing software such as Enterprise One or similar software; Pivot link database reporting or similar software
