Job Summary: Place purchase orders for day to day buys and maintain inventory levels to support ongoing business. Responsibilities: +Enter purchase orders for daily requisitions from sales. +Analyze material usage for quantity to support sales. +Review on a weekly basis for assigned vendors and or Product Groups of material, for replenishment of material consumed thru the week, via suggested purchasing reports. +Expedite placed orders for confirmations and dealing with all aspects of the order until complete. +Must resolve any issues regarding quality with the vendor. +Work on special pricing quotes for the Sales staff. +Maintain and update price sheets from vendors as needed. Qualifications: +Previous experience in a purchasing position. +Strong written and verbal communication skills. +Capable of handling and organizing high volume work flow. +Computer literate. + Analytical thinking. + Ability to work with others and independently.
