The client is seeking a mid level C# developer for a 3 month contract to hire position. The individual will be performing maintenance, bug fixes, and enhancements to their core application.

They produce software for managing tenant and financial data, tracking maintenance activities, performing unit inspections, and producing standard HUD and agency-specific reports and data reporting files. They have been automating housing authorities across the United States since 1985.
They serve as both experts in the housing industry and cutting-edge software engineers. Their enterprise system not only manages all the functional areas of housing authorities' management operations, but they have also built a variety of ancillary products that use wizards and a clear, concise user interface to improve the efficiency for everyday business processes.
Job duties include:
*Microsoft C# .NET, Visual Studio
*Transact-SQL (SQL Server or Sybase SQL preferred)
*DevExpress would be helpful but not required
*CSLA .NET would be helpful but not required
*Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
*Ability to understand and practice industry knowledge
*Make program enhancements/corrections and participate in updating the written and electronic documentation
*Provide assistance to Training and Support Specialists, including direct customer contact over the phone, email, and internet
*Become an expert in our customers' business, in the software development tools you will use and in the client programs that you are assigned
*Attention to detail and organization
*Grace under fire: most of the work they do is urgent or time sensitive
*3-5 years' experience
