The Campus Programs team is responsible for building Capital One’s pipeline of emerging talent – and great digital design talent is at the top of our list. We are looking for an exceptional Digital Design Program (DDP) lead to oversee our college hire program for the Digital Design job family. The ideal candidate will have a passion for recruiting and developing talent, as well as smart design and technology. You’ll understand what it takes to be a great designer, and how to deliver effortless experiences in a digital environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience running talent acquisition and retention programs, as well as leading cross-functional projects. Familiar with a human centered design approach and experience building relationships with design teams? Even better.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Deliver the core experience and curriculum for Design Development Program associates
  • Partner with key program stakeholders to facilitate onboarding and the job rotation process
  • Lead the hiring manager identification and manager training processes
  • Coach and develop associates in the program, provide mentoring advice and career coaching
  • Drive the talent management process for campus hires
  • Develop and execute strategies aimed at promoting the Capital One brand and developing a targeted candidate pipeline of university students
  • Create and coordinate ongoing campus hire training and communications
  • Engage with senior leaders across company to ensure consistently positive experience for program associates

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working in program management, or at least 3 years of experience in employee development, or a combination of both

Preferred qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, or at least 3 years of experience in other human resources roles, or project management roles.
  • Experience working at a technology company
  • Experience with communications, project management, event management
  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends
