Job DescriptionThe Calibration Maintenance Technician will perform the building, repair, and maintenance of automated drug/ medication dispensing devices for various automated drug/medication dispensing machines in our Mail Order Pharmacy. They will develop a working knowledge of all of the Automated Dispensing Equipment and their components. Keeping on task daily with required cleaning routines as per recommended by Pharmacy Procedures.
The Calibration Maintenance Technician will also test, track, and audit Dispensing Device's performance with specific detail to critical counting accuracy, and high quality expectations. Familiarity and experience with desktop software for data analyzing is expected. Some troubleshooting of basic day to day production issues are necessary to maintain facility wide Operational goals. This also means following all policies and procedures daily to ensure execution of Quality metrics. They will also maintain all of the necessary transactions into our local database software system to track inventory usage and cost of repair. Performing other related duties as assigned while supporting Pharmacy Operations.
***Hours are second shift 3pm - 1:30am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Required Qualifications1+ years in a position requiring mechanical or electrical experience
Microsoft Office experience
Able to Maintain standing for extended periods of time, as well as reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 45 lbs. Preferred QualificationsMechanical and Electrical aptitude.
Advanced Analytical and Technical ability with regards to reading and interpreting electrical prints and mechanical drawings.
Ability to utilize tools such as Digital Multi-meter, Warehousing- Maintenance Software, and Microsoft Office
Able to remain standing for extended periods of time, as well as reach /twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 45 pounds
Good verbal and written communication skills along with organizational skills
Maintains a focus on work to meet production requirements to ensure support of production requirements in the Pharmacy Environment. EducationHigh school diploma (or equivalent) required.
Additional training/education in a related area (mechanical aptitude) is a plus. Business Overview
