  • The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and execute strategy for communication of Real World Data in the Cardiovascular therapeutic area
  • Works collaboratively with data generation experts in Health Economics and Outcomes Research to advise on study protocols and data interpretation
  • Partners closely with field medical scientists to gain alignment on key initiatives and training needs
  • Partners with Advocacy on initiatives in the Cardiovascular space
  • Provides scientific input to Commercial to assist in the development and implementation of commercial deliverables
  • Works collaboratively with wide range of internal stakeholders and Alliance partners (including HEOR, field medical, Medical Information, commercial, and/or development)
  • Participates in the development, review and execution of the full medial plan
  • Utilizes insights from external environment to critically evaluate strategic and tactical plans; makes recommendations to adjust accordingly
  • Partners on other medical strategy initiatives, as needed


  • MD with specialization in Cardiology
  • MPH, PhD with focus on observational research methods a plus
  • 1-2 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or managed care, or consulting industries with a primary focus on Market Access preferred
  • Experience in interpreting Real World and clinical data for purposes of formulary decision making or clinical insights would be advantageous
  • Must possess the ability to understand, interpret and make recommendations concerning the evolving US healthcare marketplace and comparative effectiveness research
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and substantive track record in working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Able to innovate, analyze and solve problems with attention to detail
  • Experience working within an Alliance is helpful but not essential
