Cardiovascular Technician, Full-time Mixed Shifts

Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to provide care for septic patients. Provides clinical and professional expertise to focus on health promotion and disease prevention.

Essential Functions:
  • Assists physician with Cardiac Catherization procedures and contributes to cardiac diagnosis.
  • Measures, records and documents hemodynamics following established policies and procedures.
  • Scrubs with physician and circulates on all cardiac cath lab procedures, including prepping, sterile procedures and interventional technology.
  • Provides report data to physician upon completion of procedure.
  • Performs x-ray functions for procedures requiring singular fluoroscopy according to established policies and procedures.
  • Implements daily and weekly QA and maintenance procedures on specified cardiac cath equipment.

  • High School Diploma required
  • Graduate of CCAHEP accredited program preferred.
  • Florida certification as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT required.
  • Current RCVT or RCIS preferred.
  • New hires must obtain RCVT or RCIS within one year of employment.
One (1) to three (3) years' experience as a cath lab tech.
