Description: Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute catered events as needed, from start to finish. Completion of packing lists, set-up sheets, and cleaning checklists where applicable
  • Assist other team members with catered events as needed
  • Report maintenance needs to Catering Associate Director on a timely basis
  • Assist with Server Training, Inventory, and any other assigned projects
  • Clean, organize, and maintain all storage and production areas
  • Enforce adherence to all departmental guidelines with waitstaff, student managers, student supervisors, and temporary staff
  • Maintain consistent service on all catered events through enforcement of operational standards and procedures
  • Implement and enforce all safety guidelines in accordance with Aramark, University of Delaware, and Board of Health policies and codes
  • Record and document all changes/incidents/feedback and follow up from events for billing and historical information
  • All other duties assigned by Associate Catering Director


Qualifications:
  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year as a lead
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • Strong organizational skills

Minimum Education/Certification
  • High School Diploma/GED
