The Role

This leader will serve as the Community Banking Reporting and Analysis Leader responsible for reporting and analysis -- as well as business success measurements and platform and service staffing models

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead Branch and Leadership Reporting:

  • Produce all non-financial day-to-day business/customer experience/ sales/service/activity reports for Community Banking: (excludes risk-management related reports)
    • Produce and improve over time scorecards that measure success
    • Provide business ownership and support for the Community Banking Gateway environment
    • Provide reports and tools related to non-financial business metrics for both individual performers and leaders
    • Provide single or short duration reporting on non-financial business metrics
    • Provide recurring customer experience reportin

Lead supporting analysis / provide support to senior leaders:

  • Provide direct support of the book administrative function for branch and banker books of business in the Customer Relationship View (CRV) tool, including book maintenance and transfers.
  • Provide direct support to Regional Bank Executives and Lead Region Presidents related to non-financial business metrics
  • Provide direct support to PM&R (Performance Management and Rewards) to include reports and tools needed to support field leaders
  • Management and oversight of data sets and processes to support data elements used in incentive, performance management and recognition programs.
  • Support major processes requiring data/analysis (i.e. Customer Needs Assessments)
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to inform decisions for branch and customer experience, including analysis in support of Change for the Better

Lead staffing models:

  • Service staffing model and all analysis and tools for the field in support of this
  • Platform staffing model and all analysis and tools for the field in support of this

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have success in building and leading a high performing, industry-leading customer focused teams in the financial services industry. This executive will have experience leading a best in class organization leveraging highly disciplined business, financial, operations, credit and risk management processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, modeling, or a combination of both
  • 6+ years of management experience; or 6+ years of leadership experience in an advanced quantitative analytics function

Other Desired Qualifications
  • A seasoned executive with at least 15 years of increasing leadership responsibility with demonstrated experience in a strategic, senior leadership role with deep analytics experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining talented and geographically dispersed teams and creating a strong teamwork oriented environment.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of financial services, customer experience, channel analytics, segment analytics, business gearing and financial drivers.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, create and manage (while achieving results) large-scale change and influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization, create a strong collaborative environment, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas across Wells Fargo.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to present complex data and metrics into an executive level summary to create understanding and influence decisions.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain a highly engaged, high performing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships across lines of business and functional areas, and manage effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong and demonstrated skills influencing senior leaders and multiple key stakeholders with many different and often conflicting priorities and ability to bring consensus that drives business performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence, motivate, attract, develop, retain and a direct team to emphasize individual and group strengths. Inspires and motivates team to high performance.

San Francisco, CA; Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Phoenix, AZ; any major Wells Fargo hub location will be considered.
