In a lean manufacturing environment, the Cell Operator will perform standard work on a continuous basis. You will be recognizing process failures and working to create successful solutions so attention to detail is essential.
As the Cell Operator - Weld / Braze 2nd Shift, you will:
+ Operate Machinery
+ Interpret written specs
+ Interpret Manufacturing instructions
+ Use standard measuring instruments
+ Preform standard work per the quality work plans
+ Generate ideas on a weekly basis
+ Participate in team based improvement activities
+ Actively participate in standard work revisions
+ High School Diploma / GED
+ Ability and willingness to repeatedly perform heavy lifting
+ Ability and willingness to pass operator certification within a 2-month period of assuming position and maintain certification (weld / braze only)
+ Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift
+ Able to interpret Manufacturing instructions
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Able to do shop math
+ Able to interpret shop blueprints
+ Strong safety, attendance and performance record
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to work well with others
