Job Description: Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites. Uses and applies emulation and platform-level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec. Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures. Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on-die debug features.
Project lead supporting the functional release test (FRT) team with is part of iCDG PRD verification. You will be responsible for leading individual projects within the team. You will drive the functional test plan for the system level validation of the modem. Activities include: planning test cases, development, execution, and reporting as necessary. You will be communicating with other verification teams, SW development and integration. Collaborating with other teams to improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
Possess a bachelor degree in Engineering (Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering). Must have at least 5 years of experience as an engineering manager and 7-10 years in the area of mobile testing.
-Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
-Demonstrated experience in verification.
- Strong knowledge of cellular modem standards, network providers and network simulators.
- Experience in driving test strategy and implementation of quality testing.
-Experienced in performance management.
-Experience in developing planning, resource management, risk mitigation and risk management.
-Responsible for the maintenance and relationships with the equipment vendors. Ensuring capabilities align with modem feature development
-Excellent leadership skills
