SHIFT SUPERVISOR OF STERILE PROCESSING DEPARTMENT
*1. Supervises decontamination, packaging, distribution, and storage processes.
*2. Maintains effective communication with co-supervisors, CSS staff, CSS Manager, and customers.
*3. Supervises, trains, and orients staff to policies/ procedures.
*4. Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
*5. Demonstrates comprehensive job knowledge.
*6. Maintains Departmental documentation including schedules for the Central Supply department, all CSS related quality assurance data, and annual performance evaluations for his/ her staff.
* THOSE SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS WITH AN (*) ARE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
CONSIDERED NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISH THIS JOB.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Certified Central Sterile Supply Technician.
Required: Two years of experience in Sterile Processing and or Operating Room. Previous supervisor experience.
