Sterile Processing Tech Responsibilities:
- The Central Sterile Technician is a trained individual who demonstrates competence in the decontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution of equipment and supplies for in-hospital use, is responsible for meeting the approved Standards of Care and Practice (Polices and Procedures), and promotes collaboration with other health care providers.
Qualifications: Completion of Sterile Processing course and/or 1 year experience as a sterile processing technician required.
