Role Summary:

The Certification Program Manager develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role, you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Certification Program Manager you will:

+ Provide overall quality leadership for assigned business unit

+ Provide leadership and direction to site resources in executing the strategy for breakthrough levels of improvement in customer satisfaction, process capability and quality

+ Work with quality champion(s) and other operating leaders to develop project deployment strategy, goals and priorities

+ Serve as change agent by stimulating, communicating and institutionalizing quality initiatives

+ Improve customer satisfaction and reduce process variation through application of quality tools and tactics

+ Develop strategy and deploy quality tools and tactics

+ Communicate progress, status and issues to business leaders

+ Seek, share and institutionalize best practices

+ Support the successful implementation of site Product Certifications, to include the following activities:a. Understand Process and Product requirements necessary to deliver products to our global customers in compliance with all regulatory and legal obligationsb. Develop plans, create schedules, and coordinate all activities necessary to comply with Product Certification requirementsc. Interface with customers on all product certification issuesd. Interface with 3rd party auditors and coordinate site audits to ensure full compliance with regulations and product certification requirementse. Successfully completed all audits and inspectionsf. Develop and implement processes necessary to ensure continued compliance with requirementsg. other activities to support customer orders and regulatory requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 7 years of experience in a functional area that is supported by a Six Sigma or quality position in a manufacturing or office environment)

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in a functional area that is supported by a Six Sigma or quality position in a manufacturing or office environment

+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools

+ Demonstrated commitment for process improvement

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

+ Executive level presentation skills
