Frankfort Regional Medical Center, Frankfort, KY is looking for team oriented Respiratory Therapists to join our family to work PRN Day or Night shifts - flexible schedule! No on-call requirements. Will care for all ages of patients from infants to geriatrics.

Position Summary: Works as a member of the Health Care Team to provide treatment, management, evaluation and care of the patient with deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system.

General Responsibilities

Administers routine treatment modalities (CPT, Nebulizer Treatments, etc) according to Physicians orders and Policy.

Sets up and monitors oxygen according to Physicians orders and department Policy.

Obtains arterial blood gas samples and performs analysis according to policy, and reports results to responsible Physician. Performs routine QC and maintenance.

Performs Ventilator, BiPAP, and CPAP set up, and makes changes according to Physicians orders and department Policy

Performs weaning parameters and extubations, according to department Policy when ordered by a Physician.

Performs EKG's and PFT's, according to department Policy, when ordered by a Physician
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of approved Respiratory Therapy Program

Licensure/Certifications: Current KBRC license in good standing, BLS required upon hire. ACLS and NRP required within six months of hire.

Experience: Experience in the field preferred
