Performs a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures, e.g. electroencephalography, nerve conduction studies and evoked potentials on patients in the laboratory, at the bedside and in the operating room. Assists with editing and monitoring activities of Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
* Licensure/Certification/Registration: Prefer R. EEGT or CMET but not required.
* Education: Completion of least one year of college with emphasis on physical and biological sciences.
* Experience: At least 3 years experience in a hospital setting dealing with the critically ill and small children. Experience with neonates helpful.
* Special Qualifications: Requires a basic knowledge of electronics and maintenance. Must be proficient in the technical aspects of EEG, EMG, and Evoked Potentials.
