The Marketing & Communications (M&C) Chief of Staff position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with LinkedIn's CMO & SVP of Communications. This role is for a seasoned marketing and communications leader who can be a strategic thought partner while simultaneously driving day-to-day execution of key priorities. As part of the M&C leadership team, the Chief of Staff has wide ranging responsibilities spanning the Microsoft integration, internal communications and program management.
Responsibilities:
  • Sh ape and develop the M&C department's strategic priorities and commitments working with the CMO and the leadership team; execute key cross-functional department initiatives
  • Develop internal communications including newsletters, emails, all hands and offsites to inform and inspire the M&C team
  • Lead Microsoft integration activities by prioritizing initiatives, aligning teams and resources, working effectively with Microsoft and cross-functional counterparts, and providing regular and clear communications to key stakeholders
  • Provide program management for staff meetings, department meetings, and exec staff initiatives
  • Collaborate with HR on talent development initiatives including employee survey analysis, new hire on-boarding, internal mobility and skills training
  • Inspire operational excellence by defining and communicating processes and best practices
  • Lead special projects as needed
Basic Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience supporting executives in the technology space
  • BA/BS Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • You have deep experience in marketing and communications
  • You have significant experience working with, building relationships with and influencing senior leaders
  • You possess the skills to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others and to successfully interact with all levels of the organization
  • You can work cross functionally to identify, develop solutions for and execute against business challenges
  • You can develop and maintain appropriate communications to promote and educate executives, department members and external stakeholders regarding important initiatives
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can organize and lead teams to resolve issues
  • You have high standards and integrity, unquestionably good judgment, seasoned analytical skills, and superior oral and written communication skills
  • You act with a high level of diplomacy, tact and discretion
  • You are both entrepreneurial and detail oriented
