About The Role:
In this newly created role, you will have a unique opportunity to support the Chief Customer Officer (CCO) in advancing the U.S. business strategy to enable strategic outcomes. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders within the Customer Office and across Prudential to assess needs, define approaches, implement solutions and evaluate outcomes. As part of the senior leadership team, y ou will help to develop best practices, constantly researching new and better ways to drive digital advocacy and revolutionize Prudential’s customer experience. You will have an up close personal and professional view at the senior most levels to pretty much every part of the company.

Specific Responsibilities:

Internal Communications:

o Builds an integrated communications plan that transcends organizational boundaries, leverages a multi-media approach and easily adapts to the diverse needs of individual business groups

o Creates a compelling value proposition for the customer experience to drive branding and messaging for a customer centric company

o Responsible for the intranet portal site (e.g., content, functionality, analytics)

o Leads all on-site and off-site events such as town halls, SLT off-sites, etc. ensuring alignment of content to strategic priorities and high quality execution

o Drives communications for all key initiatives for the Customer Office, supporting respective businesses with communication assets (e.g., FAQs, newsletters, articles, etc.)

o Oversees employee recognition program and new hire onboarding

o Drives a continuous learning culture by creating core training opportunities that meet the needs of employees (e.g., business acumen, external trends, etc.)

Business Management and Connectivity:

o Understand financial outcomes team is driving and is a key enabler for the executive team

o Engages in a wide range of activities, key initiatives and projects of the Customer Office to ensure exceptional execution and outcomes

o Responsible for strategic meeting coordination at C and SVP/VP levels including agenda, meeting management and follow-ups

o Pro-actively ensures information flow, processes, and identifies strategic gaps to ensure smooth execution of Prudential and Customer Office priorities

o Proactively identifies opportunities/issues where CCO should be involved, prioritizing work and suggesting areas for further engagement

o Enables the required collaboration and drives consistency for budget and expense management processes within the Customer Office

o Collaborates with other Prudential Chiefs of Staff on enterprise initiatives and responds to all corporate requests (e.g. earnings messages)

o Hands on ability to create strategic presentations and ability to tell story via slides, spreadsheets etc.

CCO Speaking Engagements/Public Relations:

o Fields all requests for strategic importance, relevance and availability

o Prioritizes requests and serves as key contact with meeting owners on content, logistics and prep calls

o Supports CCO in developing presentation concepts and building slide decks; coordinates presentation review and submission

o Coordinate with Public Relations to establish external presence (media, conferences, thought leadership)

Facilities Management:

o Oversees space management (e.g., design, floor plans, new hires, moves, etc.) to maximize the space of a growing organization

o Responsible for supplies and equipment procurement (e.g., furniture, A/V, signage, etc.)

o Serves as a liaison with corporate real estate, IT and similar other functions

Successful Candidate Profile:

• Ability to synthesize disparate information and translate into cohesive and compelling vision/story

• Team player who fosters a sense of urgency and demonstrates exceptional organization skills
• Strong communicator, both internally and externally; works comfortably at the highest levels of the organization and manages stakeholders through clear written and verbal communications

• Strong hands-on expertise in common tools like PowerPoint, word and excel

• Event planning experience; manages large scale conferences/meetings while paying close attention to critical

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.
