One of our top Fortune 250 clients is looking for a Cisco Voice Engineer with the following experience:
  • 2+ years experience installing and advanced configuration on Cisco Call Manager platforms (must know how to set up partitions, do DID configurations, and set up Regions A.K.A codecs. Also need to know how to navigate through call manager and understand why issues are arising by looking at the different configurations.)
  • 2+ years experience with configuring routers and switches or sound knowledge around how routers and switches are applied and configured in a VOIP environment.
  • 2+ years experience configuring and troubleshooting VOIP Trunks and VOIP Gateways.
  • Must have performed a migration to a newer version of Call Manager (They are migrating from Cisco Call Manager 7 to Cisco Call Manager 10.6)


  • Our client used to outsource their IT department and operated like many separate operating companies. Now they are funding a 30 million dollar initiative to bring their IT department back in house and start operating as one central unit. They are investing into a lot of internal innovated projects right now to include a cloud migration, SAP consolidation, and this cisco call manager upgrade. They are migrating to the latest version of call manager to save money on a centralized IT system and reduce the presence of Shadow IT.

    This candidate will come in an perform the migration from Cisco Call Manager 7 to Call Manager 10.6. They a will be performing the migration migration for about 500-600 people in the Lyle, Chicago area. You can sit in Smithfield, Virginia, Kansas City, MO, or Lyle, Chicago. There will be initial travel to Lyle, Chicago to do the migration and then support of the system. They will be training and documentation of the migration and common issues.
