Job summary
Candidate should possess the ability to provide exceptional customer service while performing actions that include claim adjusting as well as a variety of telephone, support, and team lead assignments inclusive of those delegated by the supervisor.
Functional Responsibilities :
  • Possesses homeowner policy knowledge and applies appropriately to claims handling
  • Ability to determine coverage if necessary on customer inquiries
  • Strong understanding of claim handling concepts and procedures
  • Able to assist with payment transactions including reissuing of checks and holdback payments
  • Responds to inquiries, researches and resolves problems and maintains files accurately in a claims system which meets all company and state regulations
  • Answers in-bound calls from clients regarding all homeowner claims from catastrophe to conventional
  • Provides support to Home Ops adjusters both internal and field
  • Assists customers with policyholder service inquiry calls and correspondence
  • Assists supervisor with various responsibilities including oversees department activities, projects as assigned, and training of new associates
Required Qualifications
  • Strong phone and computer skills
  • Flexibility to manage varying volume and schedule
  • Ability to secure and maintain all required licenses
  • Minimum 2 years related business experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
