Position Description:
1. Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing products. Applies knowledge of qualified sources and products to recommend materials to Design Engineering, which would result in savings, lead time reductions, system improvements, increased life and/or mitigated.
2. Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
3. Leads the supplier technical audit process and evaluates supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier. Training other supplier engineers on the supplier audit and evaluation process.
4. Leads quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action. Identifies and drives broad based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.

Requirements:
1. Degree (Bachelor or above) in materials science, or chemical engineering, with 5 year semiconductor/display industrial working experience, or BS with 8 to10 year working experience.
2. Familiar with metal, ceramic, quartz component cleaning and surface coating mechanism and characterization. The candidate with other surface treatment chemistry and experience will also be considered (EP, plating, Anodize...)
3. Familiar to analysis data which is get from chemical measurements such as ICP-MS/GC-MS/Ion Chromatography/FTIR/RGA. Operating skill is a plus.
4. Quality knowledge as 8D methodology, ISO system, GD&T and general quality method.
5. Specific experience on particulate control of components in clean room environment, metal chemical cleaning, plasma coating. is a plus.

Qualifications:
1. The candidate have the good practice and process knowledge in cleaning. At least 8 years related working experience is required.
2. Perform the process audit and qualification in supplier cleaning process and identify the improvement opportunities & action requirement for supplier.
3. Assist the supplier in development new product for cleaning issue and manage the supplier's cleaning capacity, feasibility and control & test method to fulfill the new product requirement.
4. Well know the quality concept & tools to solve the problem.
5. Business travel is necessary.
6. MS degree of engineering is a plus.
