As a Federal Market seller in IBM Sales & Distribution, you will manage the customer relationship for IBM and be responsible
for revenue growth and customer satisfaction.  You will lead account planning and opportunity identification, prioritize opportunity
Pursuits and conduct complex negotiations. You will use your in depth knowledge of the Federal Civilian Market to sell transformation
Initiatives to c-suite and line of business. A strategic thinker and business influencer, you'll partner with clients to co-create innovative
Cognitive, Cloud, Analytics, Commerce, Security, Social or Internet of Things solutions that enable new business processes and
Models driven by digital disruption. You will team with IBM ecosystems partners to identify cross-IBM solutions.

You will use creative prospecting techniques to expand IBM's reach with new solutions.

Key attributes:
Proven ability to articulate and deliver compelling, industry-focused solutions and value
In-depth knowledge of Mission critical programs and relationships at one or more of the following of Federal Civilian Agencies: Dept of Commerce, USDA, DoT, & NASA.
Proven ability to sell Services, including Software as a Service
In-depth business development, sales and/or consultant experience
Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills at all levels of an organization.
Driven and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence in everything they do.
Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships with peers and customers
Travel required will be between 25% depending on location of hire and clients supported.
Required and Professional Expertise
At least 3 years' experience in Enterprise Sales
At least 3 years' experience in solution or technology sales, including one or more of the following areas: Cognitive, Cloud, Analytics, Commerce, Security, Social or Internet of Things
At least 3 years' experience in developing solution requirements in the Distribution market
Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-brand selling
This position is located in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area
