Job Description The Pharmacy Client Rebates Director role is a highly visible,client-facing opportunity responsible for driving strategies to minimalize client drug spend.
You will be expected to analyze, research, write and edit custom formulary presentations that provide clients with strategic insights around their drug trend. You will work with multiple customer market segments(i.e. Commercial, Managed Medicaid, Med D, and Exchange Formularies) which will require relationship building both internally and externally and well as a deep understanding and interpretation of the strategies being presented. You are responsible for ensuring CVS Health meets client rebate contract guarantees.This is a fantastic opportunity with exposure to high profile clients and senior executives; and a chance to create strong partnerships.
This position will be located in Bloomington, MN.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Assisting with strategic initiatives, including working in a cross functional team environment on multiple projects at a time and handling requirement needs.
-Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for all Trade Relations margin related areas.
-Understanding and anticipating benefit design evolution and potential impact on financials.
-Working within the Trade Relations department to persuasively and effectively educate external clients about potential issues and opportunities.
-Defining products and features that monetize the value CVS Health brings to Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, and assisting in the development and launch of a contracting strategy.
-Directing the creation and execution of optimal pull-through/push-through strategies and processes for target markets (i.e. Commercial, Medicare, etc.).
-Executing quantitative and qualitative research to develop and test value proposition scenarios and messages.
-Effective communicator able to engage many top clients of CVS Health and also work with internal teams. Required Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare, managed care, health plans, or PBM with a focus on financial
strategy and client relations.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Preferred Qualifications 8+ years experience with health plans rebates, drug spend and/or formulary strategies.
MBA or Pharmacist Licensure.
Management Consultant experience. Education Bachelor's Degree. Business Overview
