Global Account Executive, Middle Market Travel Management Account Services

The role of the Global AE is to support customers in the US market who are headquartered in another country, maintaining the terms of the global BTSA and the local agreement. The Global AE should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the clients' business need, while leveraging that knowledge to offer a unique perspective of the clients' value drivers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Implementation of programs for global client
  • Local and Global support of RFP and contract renewal
  • Prepare, Analyze and present business reviews
  • Financial, MI, online and offline product support and trouble shooting
  • Support of vendor contract negotiations
  • American Express value add product implementation and support
  • Lead and/or participate in client meetings with global Travel Manager and Global GM
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues as needed

Qualifications for the Global AE:
  • Strong and effective two-way communication skills
  • Ability to offer valuable perspective, ongoing consultation and drive results
  • Knowledge and comprehensive understanding of Global BTSAs and local agreements
  • Understanding of American Express Business Travel MMD and MMS service platforms
  • Ability to understand and create SOW and set appropriate exceptions
  • Financial acumen, proficiency with GCS client settlements, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of internal products and hands on familiarity a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with a global team while navigating multiple cultural relationships both internal and external
  • Effective presentation skills at multiple levels, peer to C-Level
