Looking for an experience Clinic Assistant III for a well know hospital for the Bay Area. Candidate should be able to do the following:


Be responsible for building and maintaining accurate database of referring providers.
Demonstrates master skill set for detail, accuracy and integrity of provider information.
Ability to identify and use a variety of resources to obtain and verify provider demographics and licensure.
Manages data across multiple sources (e.g. MSOW, Epic), including ability to engage Help Desk when appropriate for assistance.
Capable of independent and creative discovery and problem solving.
Follows "best in practice" workflows as presented in Staff Proficiencies checklist, such as verifying state medical licence, NPI number, checking for sanctions through the Office of the Inspector General, and enrollment in PECOS program,
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, meet time commitments and follow-through to resolution.
Participates in projects which contribute to building and/or maintaining the database
Contributes to the team and the overall mission of the organization.
Maintains confidentiality of documents and information as per HIPAA guidelines. aintains professional demeanor when dealing with internal/external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS :


High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three years of office work experience.
Prior experience with data entry is preferred.
Prior experience with data entry is preferred.
Ability to type minimum 65 wpm. required.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and able to set priorities and manage multiple demands effectively.

None required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily sedentary in nature, no special physical demands are required.
