The Clinical Account Representative (CAR) is responsible for sales generation and ongoing service and support of physicians and healthcare providers in the ENT marketplace. The primary responsibility of the CAR is to increase revenue by promoting the clinical utilization of commercialized Acclarent products and services into select territories. This responsibility includes but is not limited to the solicitation and demonstration of products and services, enrollment of eligible physicians into product training programs, and supporting surgical procedures in the operating room and office lab environments.
The CAR will partner with ENT Sales Consultants in assigned territories, supporting clinical procedures in established accounts. The CAR will execute the Company’s direct sales strategy and sales plans within his/her assigned territory to achieve territory sales revenue and budget objectives. The Clinical Account Representative will proctor Acclarent-trained physicians during procedures to provide guidance on the safe and efficacious use of Acclarent products.
The CAR will be responsible to maintain records in the Acclarent CRM system on contacts and facilities as well as understand the Company’s Quality Policy and Quality System requirements applicable to tasks performed by the holder of this job function. The Associate Sales Representative will ensure accurate and on time completion of the weekly and quarterly planning tools as well as accurate and timely reconciliation of product inventor on a monthly basis
Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and two years’ outside experience in sales or be a recent JMO. Experience building sales within same customer base over prolonged period of time is preferred. Experience introducing market development programs to physician practices is preferred. Strong local relationships within the healthcare community, particularly in ENT are preferred. A Team Player with demonstrated involvement working as a member of cross-functional teams, organized sports teams, professional clubs, or military leadership experience is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States and must successfully complete a background investigation, to include a review of your driving record history. The ability to travel related to this role is required. Candidates are field based and must have ability to travel regionally - up to 60% of the time.
