Position Summary: The Clinical Coordinator of Operations, Scheduling Supervisor demonstrates expert skills and knowledge of surgical scheduling processes and the scheduling computer system. The position is responsible for functions and service quality of the surgery scheduling staff and office. Responsibilities include monitoring effective scheduling processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy of the surgery schedule while maximize customer service. This position provides training, clarification, and advice on scheduling issues for other team members. The Clinical Coordinator of Operations, Scheduling Supervisor plays an integral part in coordination and communication with team leaders, OR staff, physicians, etc. The Clinical Coordinator of Operations, Scheduling Supervisor performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at RMC. The Clinical Coordinator of Operations Scheduling Supervisor displays positive support for the values and mission of RMC. This position will also serve as a secondary person to analyze daily OR charge capture operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required.
Education: High School Graduate. Some college preferred
Experience: 2 years of supervisory experience required; O.R. scheduling systems experience required; operating room processes experience required; medical and OR terminology required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computers; Intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills in medical and OR procedures/terminology; skills with scheduling computer systems; typing and word processing skills; ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers; ability to supervise staff effectively and professionally; organizational and leadership skills; judgment , problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
