Adecco Engineering and Technical is currently recruiting for a Contract FT/PT Clinical Laboratory Scientist job located in San Diego, CA. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist Employee must believe in the ability to transform the science of medication monitoring to improve patient safety and health care for those who're in need. Work Schedule will be day shift and per diem is will also be considered.
Clinical Laboratory Scientist job responsibilities include:
Responsible for reporting laboratory test results for all test methods approved by CAP, NY, and CA
Enters testing data and performs a variety of standardized test on urine samples using advanced LC-MS-MS technology for the detection of perscription and illicit drugs.
Evaluates the validity of results obtained, maintains proper record of results and creates a report of results
Ensures that testing methods follow established quality control procedures; and assist with the preparation of chromatographic data reports prior to release to physicians
Prepares and maintains reagents and supplies; peforms maintenance on laboratory equiptment and maintains laboratory in a clean and orderly condition
May oversee the duties of clinical laboratory technicians and assistants who prepare specimens and perform other less complex procedures
Bachelors Degree with current California Clinical Lab Scientist License (ASAP License highly preferred)
Must maintain continuing education units required by California Department of Health Services
Knowledgeable in laboratory methods and techniques
Proficient in MS Applications(Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook)
Strong interpersonal skills and abiity to communicate with all levels of employees
Effective attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
