**Unit Description** **THIS POSITION IS OFFERING A $5,000.00 SIGN ON BONUS!!!** Sodexoleader in quality of life services has an immediate opening for a **PATIENT SERVICES MANGER** /Registered Dietitian to oversee both the **clinical and Patient Services** teams at a hospital in the greater Oregon area. As the leader of our Clinical Nutrition and Patient Services Team, the Manager will be responsible for managing the Patient Services Department and Clinical Nutrition with the primary focus being Patient Services. This beautiful hospital campus will provide Food, Nutrition and Environmental services to this hospital in Greater Oregon. We will provide all food and nutrition services for patient dining, retail café operations and catering services as well as the clinical program. **Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate:** + Must be a **Registered Dietitian** with at least 5 years of prior experience in a leadership or managerial role in an acute care setting and Patient Services Management experience. + Have previous experience in food production and dietary management as well as knowledge and understanding of managing patient meal service and prior Room Service program experience. + Have experience utilizing the nutrition care process, electronic medical records charting and prior Room Service experience **The Selected candidate will have responsibility for:** + Conducting and overseeing nutrition care and patient assessments to the general patient population with a variety of disease states as needed + The overall operation of the patient tray line to include tray assessments, quality assurance, gold checks, meal rounds, scheduling and training and development of a team of frontline staff + Overseeing Sodexo’s Room Service Program ,patient meal production, quality, consistency, delivery and works closely with the Clinical Nutrition Team and Food Service staff. + Demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills and develop and maintain strong client relations. + Working well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff and collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently and be outcome focused + Having good time management skills and be a self-starter To learn more about what Sodexo has to offer Registered Dietitians and view open positions, go to our Clinical Microsite: **Position Summary** Functions as the in-unit lead Clinical leader for a large account, system or multiple accounts under the same contract or multiple contracts in a defined region. Manages the daily operations of nutrition services through direct supervision of both non-exempt employees and entry-level exempt professional employees. Key Duties -Directs daily operations of nutrition programs and ensure customer and client satisfaction levels are met. -Establishes and executes operating standards, implements quality improvements, manages the budget and communicates them to other departments. -Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition services. -Promotes nutrition services and stays current with most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice. -Manages employees to ensure they meet goals, cost controls deadlines, and collect outcomes. -Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel). -Assists in the development of new business service(s) for the client, regional or national initiatives, projects, and implements the service program(s). **Qualifications & Requirements** Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree Basic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
