Doctor's Hospital is located in Augusta, Georgia, the state's second largest and oldest city, and is home of the annual Masters Golf Tournament. Doctors Hospital is nationally known for our Burn Center, the largest in the U.S. We have also been recognized as a top performing hospital by the Joint Commission, Cancer Center accredited by the American College of Surgeons, Chest Pain Accredited, earned the Joint Commission's certificate of distinction for total hip and total knee replacement and spinal fusion surgery, and we are the only CARF accredited facility in our area. We are a level 3 trauma and emergency center and currently pursing level 2 trauma certification.

The Clinical Practice Leader/PCU primary responsibilities are to provide department/hospital-wide specific clinical education and training through the implementation of learning activities based on staff learning needs and/or identified performance improvement issues.

  • BSN or currently enrolled in a collegiate BSN program

Licensure/ Certifications:
  • Georgia Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS certification upon hire.
  • CCRN preferred or obtained within 1 year of hire.

  • 5-6 current full time years as a Professional Nurse in a critical care area.
